Proper menu includes a low glucose level, low cholesterol as well as low calorie diet. A person having diabetes must try to consume less amount of food, which is rich in carbohydrate. Menu for diabetic patient also includes different vegetable oils like sunflower oil, oil of avocado, olive oil, sesame seed oil, soybean oil, mackerel, tuna, herrings, seeds etc. Fresh vegetables forms an important part of a diabetic menu like cucumber, onions, lettuce, mushrooms, beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, avocados, carrots, celery, olives, tomatoes and peas.
